The Tri-Constitution Chart found in this
section illustrates
the relationship of the doshas to external forces (time, seasons, stages)
and internal processes (metabolism, catabolism, anabolism), to tastes and to body
systems (colon, stomach).
It identifies the elemental forces (air, ether, fire, water, etc.) that influence each dosha.
As well, it lists the herbs and flower remedies recommended for each dosha.
Exercise 8 urges you to memorize the chart.
If you do, you will have the basic framework of Ayurveda as a constant reference
point for your healing work. Knowing this chart well will give you tremendous
confidence!
