ARNICA Arnica Montana

Arnica is a beautiful, yellow flowered plant that looks like a small sunflower. Personally, I have found the medicine to be excellent in all forms of trauma or shock, especially to the muscular or skeletal systems. Many chiropractors use arnica as an oil for external use on chronic symptoms. Homeopathic arnica can be taken internally for past or present shock.

* WARNING: Arnica is toxic in large dosages and should be stored out of the reach of children.

Conditions - Healing Properties:

Bruises - stimulant to the skin, promotes absorption of nutritive material and assists in carrying off the broken down tissue and promotes rapid repair

Heart strain (due to exertion and overworked) - benefits heart debility that follows severe strain, worry or excitement.

Depression (deficient nervous response) - has a pronounced action upon the medulla and spinal cord.

Back ache - increases circulation and nerve response.

Dosage

Homeopathic Arnica 30 X:

  Acute - 1 tablet every 2 hours r Chronic - 1 tablet a day

Tincture of arnica:

15 drops in 4 oz. of water

Acute - 1 tsp of water every hour. r Chronic - 1 tsp. of water twice daily.

External use:

1 part arnica tincture to 5 parts water (only on unbroken skin) applied on compress,
      leave on over night

* WARNING: Should the patient to whom arnica is administered appear to become nervously excited and restless or show gastric irritability, its use should be discontinued.
